Guiding Light Studios is a small, independent UK studio making calm, carefully made things for life's quieter moments. This page sets out what the studio makes and, perhaps more importantly, how it goes about making it.
What we are for
Some of the most important things people do are also the quietest (remembering someone, for example, or marking a new beginning). The aim of the studio is to give those moments a calm and hopeful place to live.
What we are making
Our first project is LodeLux, a simulated universe in which you can dedicate a star to someone. It is a prime example of what the studio sets out to do: visitors can leave messages, and each one becomes a planet orbiting that star, so the dedication grows over time. How we work
- This website doesn’t use trackers or third-party analytics.
- We would rather release something small and carefully made than something big and loud. After all, the people using it are often going through something difficult.
